You can either download the entire collection:

then use:

        gunzip RepBase27.02.embl.tar.gz
        tar xvf RepBase27.02.embl.tar

or, if you have gtar installed:

        gtar -zxvf RepBase27.02.embl.tar.gz

to untar and uncompress it;
